Lacrosse Falls to No. 13 Regis

DENVER – (HTML Box Score) Oklahoma Baptist fell to No. 13 Regis 19-1 Thursday in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference contest at Regis Lacrosse Field.
 
The Lady Bison (3-6, 0-4 RMAC) faced a very aggressive offense that attempted 32 shots, including 25 shots on goal. OBU was limited to six shot opportunities.
 
Allison Ingrim scored the lone goal for the Lady Bison in the first half and OBU headed to intermission trailing 13-1. The Rangers (6-2, 2-0 RMAC) added six more goals in the second half for the final margin.
 
Taylor Skomp and Olivia Ward each picked up two ground balls and Ingrim won three draw controls. Ward also paced OBU with two caused turnovers. Courtney Barnickle made six saves in her return as goalkeeper after missing the last four games.
 
OBU will face Johnson & Wales in Denver Friday at 2:30 p.m. Central and close out the road trip Saturday on the road at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
