SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist lacrosse returns to action Saturday when they host No. 21 McKendree at the OBU Lacrosse Complex.

The Lady Bison (2-1) enter the contest on a two-game win streak after taking down Southern Wesleyan and Missouri Baptist by a combined score of 31-4. This will be the season opener for the Bearcats (0-0).

OBU has the eighth ranked scoring defense in Division II at 4.67 goals allowed per game and the Lady Bison are seventh with a .588 saves percentage. For the season, OBU scores 11.67 goals per game on a .393 shooting percentage.

Lauren McCormack leads the team with seven goals, eight assists and 17 draw controls.
Taylor Skomp has scored seven goals and scooped up 12 ground balls and
Allison Ingrim has 12 ground balls and a team-high 14 caused turnovers.
Savannah Tompkins and
Taryn Burks have each scored four goals.
Courtney Barnickle owns a 5.20 goals allowed average on a .567 save percentage.

Paige Salthouse is the top returner for McKendree with 40 goals scored in 2017 and Dana DiPasquale scored 39 goals last season while adding a team-high 36 assists. Hannah Sugarman paced the returners with 17 caused turnovers and Collin Patton had a 5.18 goals allowed average while appearing in five games.
