SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist lacrosse will stay at home for the fourth consecutive game Monday when they host Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference opponent Colorado Mesa.

The Lady Bison (2-3, 0-1 RMAC) will look to end the season-opening three game winning streak by the Mavericks (3-0, 0-0 RMAC). Colorado Mesa has faced three RMAC schools to start the 2018 campaign, but played them all as non-conference games. Monday's meeting will mark the first conference matchup for the Mavericks.

OBU scores 8.8 goals per game on .336 shooting while giving up 10.8 goals to opponents. The Lady Bison continue to control the center circle, winning 73 draw controls while allowing only 33 to the opposition. One season after leading the nation in caused turnovers, the Lady Bison average 13.0 caused turnovers per game, which ranks No. 14 in the NCAA.

Lauren McCormack has a team-high 20 points, including nine goals and 11 assists. She has also dominated the center circle with 27 draw controls.
Taylor Skomp leads OBU with 10 goals,

Courtney Barnickle owns a 9.93 goals-allowed average, making 27 saves on a .450 save percentage and
Olivia Ward allows 5.16 goals and has four total saves.

CMU has outscored opponents 51-32 in three games this season while shooting at a .481 clip. Lindsi Peters paces the team with 10 goals, Amanda Geary and Mary Koch each have recorded seven assists and Olivia Hayden has a team-high 17 draw controls. Lula Mitchell has played every minute in goal, making 19 saves on a .373 save percentage and compiling a 10.74 goals-allowed average.
