SEARCY, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist got 20 points from 
McKenzie Cooper but came up short, falling to Harding 70-66 Thursday.
 
OBU never led in the game and trailed by as many as nine points but closed to within 68-66 with 15 seconds left, holding Harding without a field goal for the last 4:18 of the game.
 
Harding took a 69-66 lead with 14 seconds to play, giving OBU a chance to tie late, but a three-pointer with five seconds to go was off the mark.
 
Autumn Avina scored 14 points and led the Lady Bison with three assists. 
Shaylan Coleman had 13 points and 
Tasha Edge added 10. Cooper led OBU with eight rebounds.
 
The Lady Bison, now 12-10 overall and 7-9 in the Great American Conference, heads to Arkansas Tech Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest.
