SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist faces Harding in Searcy, Arkansas, Thursday at 7:30 p.m., in an important game to the Bison.
Â
OBU is 9-12 overall and 6-9 in conference games, sitting just outside the field of eight that make next month's conference tournament. A road win at HU (3-17, 3-12) is an essential win if the Bison are to get on track for a postseason run.

Chandler Rickey and
Vladimir Nemcok securing double-doubles. Rickey had 21 points and 10 rebounds while Nemcok had had 15 points and 11 assists.
Â
Travon Moore had 16 points, followed by
Brantly Thompson with 13,
Tyler Lester with 12 and
Britt Hammons with 11.
Â
Tim Wagner led Harding with 28 while Braden Eggleston added 19.
Â
The Great American Conference Monday selected Oklahoma Baptist point guard Nemcok as men's basketball co-Player of the Week. A senior from Slovakia, Nemcok averaged 28.5 points and seven assists per game last week in two games. He shot 55 percent from the field, including 42 percent from three-point range, and was 20 of 21 for 95 percent at the free throw line. Nemcok also averaged 2.5 rebounds per game. This is the second GAC Player of the Week selection for OBU.
Chandler Rickey earned the honor Jan. 8. It is the first honor for Nemcok.
Â
Rickey is eighth in the nation with 59 blocked shots and the Bison are 12th nationally with 5.0 blocks per game.
Â
Rickey leads the Bison at 18.3 points per game, followed by Moore at 11.9 and Nemcok at 11.5. Nemcok leads the GAC with 6.4 assists per game.
