SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist takes on Northwestern Oklahoma State in what is just about a must-win home contest Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
 
The Bison are in 10^th place in the Great American Conference with five games left. Four of those, including Thursday's game, are against the top four teams in the GAC standings.
 
OBU is one game behind Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist, who are tied for the eighth and final postseason slot. The Bison own a tiebreaker against HSU, but not Ouachita Baptist. All GAC teams have only in-state opponents left on their schedules.
 
Northwestern is second in the GAC at 12-5 against the league and 16-6 overall.
 
Chandler Rickey leads OBU with 17.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He also is seventh in the nation and leads the GAC with 2.7 blocked shots per game.
 
Vladimir Nemcok leads the GAC and OBU with 6.1 assists per game and averages 11.3 points. Travon Moore gets 11.8 points per game.
 
Cody Halvorson averages 13.8 points per game to lead the Rangers, followed by Treyvon Andres at 12.3.
