SHAWNEE – Vladimir Nemcok had his best game scoring and
Chandler Rickey moved into Oklahoma Baptist's all-time scoring top 10 as the Bison rallied to beat Henderson State, 92-83, Thursday night.

Nemcok scored 35 points on 10 of 16 shooting from the field, knocking down four three-pointers in six tries. He also went 11 of 12 from the free throw line and dished out five assists.

Rickey scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, moving past Scott Norris and Emmanuel Wilson into the all-time scoring top 10 with 1,417 career points.

Rickey also added three more blocks to his career record.

"I don't really look for accolades like that but it's still cool, I know I passed Caleb's (Norris) dad tonight. That was a goal for me," Rickey said with a grin. "It's cool, but I like the blocks better."

OBU led by 11 points, 23-12, midway through the first half and had a narrow 41-39 advantage at halftime.

The Reddies rallied and eventually took a 64-57 lead midway through the second half. Down 68-62, the Bison scored seven unanswered points – five from Nemcok to kick-start a 17-4 run that placed OBU in control, 76-70 with 5:14 left in the game.

HSU got as close as four points, but Nemcok made six unanswered free throws to build the lead to 89-79 with 33 seconds to play.

Britt Hammons came off the bench for 15 points on five of six shooting and
Travon Moore and
Harrison Stoddart added 11 points each.

The Bison return to action Saturday at 3 p.m., at home against Ouachita Baptist.
