WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Despite a career performance from
Charissa Price, Oklahoma Baptist dropped to 1-3 in the Great American Conference by virtue of an 83-71 loss against Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon in Weatherford.

Price only needed a half to match her career high, pouring in 19 points. She did the bulk of her damage from long range, hitting 5-of-9 from the 3-point line in the first half. She finished with 22 points, while tying high watermark in the GAC this season with six 3-pointers made.

Oklahoma Baptist led 48-39 heading into halftime, but SWOSU managed to outscore the Lady Bison in the pivotal third quarter, 20-4. The Lady Bison connected on only one of their 14 field goal attempts in the period.

Oklahoma Baptist (4-5, 1-3 GAC) are off until Dec. 31 when they take on Central Christian College (Kan.) at 3 p.m.
