HOT SPRINGS, Arkansas – No. 6-seeded Oklahoma Baptist were eliminated from the Great American Conference Tournament, falling in straight sets in the GAC Quarterfinals to No. 3-seeded Henderson State, 3-0 (19-25, 18-25, 20-25), on Thursday afternoon in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Despite having just seven fewer kills than HSU in the match, the Lady Bison struggled to generate runs on offense, putting together runs of three or more consecutive times only five times in the match.

Malia Leatherland and
Mikayla Watson led the offense for OBU, combining 24 kills, led by Leatherland's team-high 13. Watson completed a double-double with 11 digs as well.

In their final match in the Green and Gold,
Hayden Blair handed out 33 assists and collected seven digs, while
Nicole Fleitman hit .300 with seven kills.

Oklahoma Baptist concludes the 2018 season with a 16-17 record. A model of consistency, it is the 10th-straight season for OBU to finish with at least 16 wins under head coach
