SHAWNEE – After advancing last night via penalty kicks, No. 1-seeded Oklahoma Baptist will take on No. 2-seeded Southwestern Oklahoma State in a battle of Great American Conference heavyweights for the GAC Tournament crown. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from the OBU Soccer Complex.

With a win, the Lady Bison will secure their second piece of silverware for the season, as well as an automatic berth into the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Oklahoma Baptist and SWOSU battled as the top two seeds in last year's GAC Final as well. After falling 3-2 in last year's final, the Lady Bison will be looking to exact a measure of revenge in the 2018 edition of the championship.

The Lady Bison are led offensively by reigning GAC Offensive Player of the Year
Ruth King, who has a team-high 13 goals and seven assists.
Hannah White,
Tori Kitchel and
Kerregan Edwards are tied for second on the team with six goals.

Defensively, OBU has picked up 10 clean sheets behind the backline of Defensive Player of the Year

Lara Haring-Lovett,
Hannah Evans and
Kelsey Bumgarner.
Emily Griffith has been stout when called upon, posting a .92 goals-against average and .789 save percentage.

SWOSU is led by the duo of Alimata Rabo and Sandra Nabweteme, who have combined for 43 goals and 25 assists this season. Steffi Silvera has started all 18 matches in goal for the Bulldogs, collecting 71 saves while owning a 1.17 GAA.
