Ruth King posted her second hat trick of the season and Oklahoma Baptist cruised to a 4-0 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State Thursday night.

Kerregan Edwards gave the Lady Bison an early lead, converting a penalty kick with 100 seconds gone in the game.

Edwards then had an assist on King's first goal of the night with King going to the lower left corner in the 16
th minute. That combo worked again for King's second goal, in the 23
rd minute, giving OBU a 3-0 lead.

King scored the only goal of the second half, finding the net in the 66
th minute.

The Lady Bison out-shot their hosts 26-10 and put 14 shots on target. King took nine shots for the night and tested the keeper six times.
Emily Griffith and
Sam Engles had two saves each in goal for the Lady Bison.

King also had a four-goal night against Southern Nazarene last week and now leads the Lady Bison with eight goals on the season.

A junior, King has 32 goals for her career, which is the NCAA-era school record. The all-time Lady Bison record belongs to Courtney Anderson, who had 40 by the time she finished in 2011.

With the win, the Lady Bison improve to 7-4 overall and 5-0 in the Great American Conference. OBU travels to Weatherford Saturday for a showdown with Southwestern Oklahoma State, which is 7-2-1 with a 5-0 conference mark.
