WEATHERFORD – Oklahoma Baptist took control of the Great American Conference with a 2-0 win at Southwestern Oklahoma State Saturday.

Hannah White put the Lady Bison ahead in the 59
th minute.
Ruth King gave the Lady Bison a 2-0 cushion with her fourth goal of the week, scoring in the 66
th minute.

The win moves OBU to 6-0 in the GAC and 8-4 for the season while Southwestern absorbed its first loss in the conference and dropped to 7-3-1 overall.

OBU put nine of its 13 shots on goal, while SWOSU took 11 shots and
Emily Griffith thwarted all four Bulldog shots on goal.

Emmily Infante led OBU with three shots and two shots on goal.

The OBU victory extended the Lady Bison win streak to six matches while snapping SWOSU's at five.

The Lady Bison continue their road swing Thursday in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, taking on Ouachita Baptist at 1 p.m. to open the second half of the GAC season.
