SHAWNEE – A short week for Oklahoma Baptist sees the Lady Bison head to Alva on Thursday, Oct. 25 for a 7 p.m. meeting with Northwestern Oklahoma State for the squad's only match of the week.

With three matches left in the regular season, Oklahoma Baptist (14-15, 7-6 GAC) sit in sixth place, a half-match ahead of Southern Nazarene. Northwestern (15-12, 4-8 GAC) are currently in eighth place, the final spot for a ticket to the Great American Conference Tournament. With one more win, OBU will secure their second-straight berth to the GAC Tournament since becoming full members of Division II last year.

The Lady Bison can claim their second season sweep with a victory over the Rangers on Thursday night. Oklahoma Baptist dropped Northwestern, 3-1, at Mabee Arena to open league play last month.
Mikayla Watson had a match-best 16 kills to lead OBU to victory on that night.
