SHAWNEE – The showdown for the Great American Conference regular season title comes to Shawnee Thursday as Oklahoma Baptist hosts Southwestern at 6 p.m.

The Lady Bison are 12-4 overall and 10-0 in the Great American Conference while SWOSU enters at 11-3-1 overall and 9-1 in the GAC.

OBU has won 10 consecutive matches, the last six on shutouts. That string includes a 2-0 win at Southwestern in which
Hannah White and
Ruth King scored for the Lady Bison while
Emily Griffith registered four saves.

King leads OBU with 29 points on 12 goals and five assists with
Hannah White and
Kerregan Edwards scoring 14 points apiece with both owning five goals and four assists.
Tori Kitchel has four goals and three assists this season.

Griffith leads the GAC with a 0.86 goals-against average. She has 48 saves this season.

Southwestern has the GAC's top two scorers in Alimata Rabo (19 goals, nine assists, 47 points) and Sandra Nabweteme (15 goals, 11 assists, 41 points). Steffi Silvera has a 1.13 GAA with 65 saves.

Both teams have one GAC match remaining after Thursday's encounter. OBU hosts Northwestern Oklahoma State while SWOSU plays at Southern Nazarene, both matches coming Saturday.
