OBU Hosts East Central Saturday

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist hosts East Central at 6 p.m., Saturday, hoping to keep its Great American Conference season-long win streak rolling.
 
The Lady Bison have won nine consecutive games, going back to a 1-0 loss at Texas Woman's Sept. 15. OBU has logged five consecutive shutouts, dating back to a 3-1 win at ECU Sept. 27.
 
In that win in Ada, Reagan Mann, Tori Kitchel and Jennifer Goethe all had one goal while Morgan Medina scored for ECU.
 
OBU is 11-4 in all games and 9-0 in the GAC after shellacking Southern Nazarene 4-0 Tuesday.
 
Ruth King leads OBU 11 goals and five assists for 27 points. Hannah White has connected for five goals to go with four assists and Kerregan Edwards has four goals and four assists.
 
Goethe anchors a back line that allows just 9.5 shots per game. Emily Griffith leads the GAC with her 0.92 goals-against average. She has 45 saves.
 
ECU is 3-11 overall and 1-7 in the GAC after falling at home to SNU, 3-1, Thursday.
 
Alexis Castillo leads ECU with seven points with three goals and an assist. Mollie Nance leads ECU at 1.80 goals-against with 42 saves.
