BETHANY – Oklahoma Baptist spoiled Southern Nazarene's Great American Conference regular season championship hopes with a 4-2 win Tuesday.

SNU entered the match in a three-way tie for first, but their second loss to the Bison this season means Ouachita and Harding will play for the right to host the GAC Tournament.

The Bison got on the board first with
Jesus Andrade scoring from 40 yards out, arching a ball over the SNU keeper in the 10
th minute.

Dominic Gibson scored 58 seconds before the first half ended, making a steal on a slide tackle and scoring to the near post.

Southern Nazarene scored its first goal in the 57
th minute on a goal by Pedro Garcia.

Abdoulaye Bah put in a header off a free kick by
Alec Young in the 64
th minute to give the Bison a 3-1 cushion.

SNU narrowed the gap to 3-2 on a penalty kick by
Alejandro Castillo tapped in a deflection in the 78
th minute for the final margin.

OBU out-shot its hosts 16-15 and put a dozen shots on goal. Gibson had four shots, placing all four on goal to lead the Bison.

Bronson Wise got the win in goal, racking up six saves in 90 minutes.

Now 3-12 overall and 2-4 in the GAC, the Bison play at Southwest Baptist Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Bolivar, Missouri.
