SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist looks to start climbing the ladder to the postseason Thursday as the Bison take on Henderson State in the Noble Complex at 7:30 p.m.

OBU is 8-11 overall and 5-8 in the Great American Conference, standing in 10
th place. Henderson State and Saturday's opponent, Ouachita Baptist, are tied for the eighth and final playoff position at 6-7 in the GAC.

The GAC Tournament isn't until March, but the Bison have just two home games on the schedule after this weekend.

In OBU's Dec. 2 win at Henderson State,
Chandler Rickey hit a three-pointer with 10 seconds in regulation and OBU went on to an 81-79 overtime win with Rickey getting 25 points and nine rebounds.
Vladimir Nemcok had 18 points and eight assists while
Britt Hammons tacked on 14 points. Kaylon Tappin had 32 points for Henderson State.

Rickey leads the Bison at 18.9 points per game with
Travon Moore averaging 12.1. Point guard Nemcok has a team-best 120 assists and 25 steals. Rickey leads the GAC with 53 blocked shots.

Tappin leads the Reddies at 19.2 points per game, followed by Josh Jones at 14.5 and Chris Parker at 13.3.
