SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist hits the road for its furthest Great American Conference trip of the season, starting with a Thursday contest at Southern Arkansas in Magnolia.
 
Tipoff is 7:30 p.m.
 
OBU knocked off Southern Arkansas 77-74 in November with 26 points and seven blocks by Chandler Rickey. Travon Moore added 14 points and Britt Hammons added 11. FOR SAU, Keeton Tennison had 21 points and Devante Brooks added 11 points and 12 rebounds.
 
Rickey leads the Bison, 8-9 overall and 5-6 in the GAC, with 18.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game. Vladimir Nemcok runs the point for OBU, averaging a league-best 6.3 assists to go with 1.4 steals per game.
 
Travon Moore averages 11.8 points per game.
 
OBU is on a two-game win streak after knocking off East Central and Southwestern last weekend.
 
Southern Arkansas enters on a six-game win streak, upping its record to 10-7 overall and 6-5 in the GAC.
 
CJ Elkins leads Southern at 13.2 points per game, followed by Draylan Perkins at 12.6 and Keeton Tennison at 12.1.
