BOLIVAR, Mo. – (
HTML Stats) Oklahoma Baptist volleyball wrapped up the first day at the Southwest Baptist Tournament 1-1 after dropping a match 0-3 (18-25, 14-25, 21-25) against Drury Friday afternoon.

The Lady Bison struggled to get in a rhythm offensively, hitting .016 for the match. Drury (4-1) finished with 12.5 blocks and controlled play at the net for most of the match. After starting slow in each of the first two sets, OBU was unable to overcome a Panthers team that racked up 41 kills in three sets. Â Â

Hayden Blair notched her second double-double of the day, finishing with 20 assists and 10 digs.
Mikayla Watson had nine kills and 16 digs to pace the team in both categories, and
Malia Leatherland also recorded 16 digs. The Lady Bison had four blocks as a team and
Sophia Couto finished with three block assists.

OBU, now 3-3, will wrap up the Southwest Baptist Tournament Saturday with their final two games of the road trip. The Lady Bison face Emporia State at 11 a.m. and finish against Adams State at 5 p.m.Â
