SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist returns to the Noble Complex for the second time this season to host East Central in a Great American Conference volleyball match Tuesday.

The Lady Bison (8-7, 3-0 GAC) are riding a season-high three match winning streak following straight set victories over Southeastern Oklahoma State and Southern Nazarene last week.
Nicole Fleitman earned GAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after she averaged 2.50 kills per set on a .433 hitting percentage while also providing 1.50 blocks per set in the two victories.

OBU attacks at a rate of .198 as a team and picks up 12.1 kills per set. The Lady Bison have dominated at the net, ranking 12th in NCAA Division II with 2.43 blocks per set.
Sophia Couto ranks third in the GAC with 1.19 blocks per set and
Cadyn Laing is fourth at 1.09.
Mikayla Watson leads the way with 2.72 kills,
Hayden Blair has paced the team with 7.71 assists, and libero
Suzanny Figueiredo posts 4.51 digs per set.

East Central has struggled offensively this season, ranking last in the conference in hitting percentage (.113), assists (9.67) and kills per set (10.35). The Tigers (4-11, 0-3 GAC) are led by Alex Campbell with 2.49 kills and Taylor Turner with 5.00 assists. Lily Porsa ranks third in the GAC with 5.02 digs per set and Madeline Mayer blocks at a rate of 0.78 per set. ECU is 0-3 in road matches this season.
