SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist volleyball continues their slate of Great American Conference matches Thursday when they face Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m. in Bethany.

The Lady Bison (7-7, 2-0 GAC) swept Southeastern Oklahoma State Tuesday in the home opener at the Noble Complex, finishing with a season-high .326 attack percentage. OBU defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State 3-1 to open the conference season.

Thursday will mark the 56
th chapter in the series between the Lady Bison and Crimson Storm (6-6, 1-0 GAC), the most for any OBU opponent. Both teams defended home court last year, with the Lady Bison falling 0-3 at the Sawyer Center in the final match of the regular season. Southern Nazarene owns a 30-25 advantage in the all-time series.

Sophia Couto raised her blocks per set average to 1.20, ranked No. 37 in NCAA Division II.

Southern Nazarene defeated Southwestern Oklahoma State 3-1 Tuesday to snap a two-match losing streak. The Crimson Storm are paced by Bailee Turang with a GAC-leading 3.84 kills per set. Setter Kylie Smith assists at a rate of 9.35 per set and Elyse Berlin picks up 4.30 digs.
