RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. –
Isaiah Mallory ran for three touchdowns and 170 yards in a 58-21 loss Saturday at Arkansas Tech.

Mallory carried the ball 22 times for 170 yards and scores of one, 50 and 75 yards. His 170 yards is the fourth-best single game total since the Bison left the NAIA. It was Mallory's sixth 100-plus rushing game and second in a row.

Dezmond Stegall passed for 115 yards on 14-of-21 passing while
Preston Haire racked up 99 yards while completing 10 of 18 attempts.

After falling behind 7-0, the Bison tied the score 7-7, on a 75-yard march that was highlighted by a 19-yard Stegall pass to
Cagney Roberson. Mallory capped the drive from a yard out with 7:54 left in the opening quarter ad
Luke Wendl added the PAT kick.

Roberson finished with six catches for 67 yards.
Stephan Turner had six receptions for 40 yards and
Alex Lewis had 70 yards on five receptions.

Tech led 21-7 by the end of the first quarter on a TD run and a punt blocked for a score.

OBU trailed 35-7 at the half.

The Bison added its second touchdown on a third-quarter gallop of 50 yards with 10:43 showing on the third quarter clock.

OBU had a touchdown pass called back by a penalty in the third quarter and the Wonder Boys took a 55-14 lead into the final quarter.

Mallory scored from 75 yards out with 10:51 remaining in the game and OBU made it a 58-21 game.

OBU had one final drive stall at the one yard line with 3:24 remaining in the game.

Josh Arnold led the Bison defensively with 11 tackles while
Dante Foster had eight tackles, including two for loss.
Daniel Moniz recorded a sack for the Bison – the first Arkansas Tech has relinquished this season.

The Bison return to action Saturday in the Hall of Fame Game at noon against Harding in Shawnee.
