Results) Oklahoma Baptist track and field wrapped up competition Friday at the Drake Relays presented by Hy-Vee.

The meet began Wednesday, with the start of the heptathlon and decathlon. Combined events finished Thursday along with the 4x1600 meter relay.

A team of
Jacob Janzen,
Nathan Crowson,
DeAngelo Robles, and
Blaine Whitson set a new OBU record Thursday in the 4x1600 meter relay, finishing in 17:18.07.

Freshman
Hayden Ashley finished ninth in the decathlon with 6282 points and
Andrew Worley took 11
th place at 6212 points. Both athletes met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard Thursday.

A team of
McKae Mitchell,
Shariah Anderson,
Candis Rodgers, and
Leah Molter finished eighth in the 4x100 meter relay Friday with a time of 47.69. There is no qualifying time for relays in the NCCAA, but the Lady Bison turned in the third-fastest time in the NCCAA this year.

Bison men took 15
th in the 4x100 meter relay in 42.93 with a team of
Thiago Dos Santos,
Devontrae Young,
Brandon Crowley, and
Christopher Walker.

Molter met the NCCAA qualifying standard in the 100 meter hurdles, finishing in 14.40, the second-fastest time this year behind her own top mark.

In the men's 4x800 meter relay, a team of
Thomas Uglean,
Sam Smith,
Nathan Crowson, and
Carlos James took seventh in 7:49.08. It is the second-fastest time in the event in the NCCAA this year.

The Lady Bison finished runner-up in the 4x800 meter relay with a finals time of 9:09.92, beating the NCCAA's previous top time by over 23 seconds.
Shimoya Currie,
Tesa Potter,
Kysha Miller, and
Destinee Allen ran the event for OBU.

Mitchell, Anderson, Rodgers, and
Kya Barnes took second place in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:39.98.

Dos Santos, Young,
Dakota Kappelle, and Walker finished 15
th in the 4x200 meter relay in 1:30.14.

Mitchell,
Breanna Hurlbut,
Abigail Mayfield, and Barnes took second in the 4x400 meter relay with the third-fastest time in the NCCAA at 3:50.26.

Matthew Giudice,
Clayton Honeycutt, James, and Walker ran the 4x400 meter relay in 3:17.53, the second-best mark in the NCCAA this year.

In the women's 1600 meter sprint medley, a team of Mitchell, Rodgers, Barnes, and Allen took third place in 4:02.78.

Dos Santos, Young, Giudice, and James finished the men's sprint medley in 3:27.51, taking second place.
