MONTICELLO, Ark. – Arkansas-Monticello took a pair of games from Oklahoma Baptist Sunday, 2-1 and 4-1.

OBU fell behind 1-0 in the second inning but
Sam Barry tied the game with a leadoff home run in the third.

The Lady Bison managed just singles from
Bry Flanagan and
Madison Vaughan to go with that home run for a three-hit game.

Haylee Zimmerman took the loss despite limiting the Blossoms to three hits.

OBU had a 1-0 lead in the first inning of the second game when
Bailee Saye singled in a run, but the Blossoms struck for four runs in third inning for the final margin.

The Lady Bison out-hit their hosts in the second game, 7-6, with
Jill Shipman and
Miranda Garza leading the way with two hits each. Garza had a triple and Flanagan had a double. Â

McKenzie Jones took the pitching loss.

The Lady Bison play a 1 p.m. doubleheader Monday at Blossoms Field to wrap up the series.
