SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist makes its last road trip of the season Thursday, taking on Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford in a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.

While both teams starting lineups put up impressive numbers, OBU was outscored 12-1 from the bench in the Lady Bison's 81-79 win.
Katy Custer had a 24-12 double-double and
Autumn Avina threw in a triple double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
Tasha Edge had 23 points. Southwestern was led by Hayden Priddy with 28 and Hailey Tucker with 22.

The series dates back to OBU's third season of varsity basketball and the former NAIA District 9. Southwestern has dominated the series, but OBU won last season and now has a modest two-game win streak against the Lady Bulldogs in the GAC.

Hailey Tucker and Hayden Priddy form the best 1-2 scoring punch in the Great American Conference as they are first and second in scoring with Tucker at 18.7 and Priddy at 15.7 points per game. Tucker also leads the GAC at 9.5 rebounds per game. SWOSU has won five of its last seven games after ending a two-game slide Monday with a win over Northwestern Oklahoma State.

The Lady Bison are coming off of a home win against Southern Nazarene in which Custer scored 25 points and Edge added 23. Edge is the team's leading scorer and rebounder at 14.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Custer averages 13.9 points per game, followed by
Autumn Avina at 10.0.
