Lacrosse Releases 2018 Schedule

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist lacrosse has released their schedule for the 2018 season, the first for OBU as full members of NCAA Division II.
 
The 2018 slate features 16 games, including six homes contests and 10 away from Bison Hill. Nine of the dates away from home are true road games and one opponent will be played at a neutral site.

The Lady Bison open the schedule Feb. 2 away from home, facing North Greenville in Tigerville, South Carolina. OBU will wrap up the road trip on Feb. 3 against Southern Wesleyan. It will be Southern Wesleyan's first official match in program history. 
 
Following a two week break in the schedule, OBU is set to host Missouri Baptist in the home opener on Feb. 17 in the first of five consecutive home games. After a nonconference tilt against McKendree on March 3, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play kicks off on March 9 when the Lady Bison host Fort Lewis College. The remainder of the home stand includes RMAC contests against Colorado Mesa on March 12 and Westminster College on March 13.
 
OBU begins a stretch of eight straight games away from the OBU Lacrosse Complex with a nonconference neutral site contest against Keiser in Denver on March 19. The Lady Bison will stay in Colorado and play three games over three days. OBU continues RMAC play at Regis on March 22, faces nonconference Johnson & Wales (Colo.) on March 23 and wraps up the trip with another RMAC game against Colorado – Colorado Springs on March 24.
 
After another extended break, the Lady Bison will travel to Adams State on April 12 and make a stop at Colorado State – Pueblo on April 14 to wrap up the RMAC road trip. The final nonconference game of the season is against Saint Mary (Kan.) in Leavenworth, Kansas, on April 20. OBU will face RMAC opponent Rockhurst the following day in Kansas City, Missouri.
 
The Lady Bison will return to the OBU Lacrosse Complex for the first time in six weeks on April 28 to host Lindenwood in the final game of the regular season. RMAC postseason play is set to begin May 3 at home sites.
