DURANT, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist volleyball posted the highest hitting percentage of the season in the final road match of the year, defeating Southeastern Oklahoma State 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-18).

The Lady Bison (17-13, 11-4 GAC) secured the third spot in the Great American Conference Tournament with the win and ended a streak of six straight Savage Storm (12-18, 7-8 GAC) victories. As a team, Oklahoma Baptist finished with a .373 hitting percentage, the best mark of 2017.

OBU briefly trailed in the first set at 1-2, but the Lady Bison would go on to hit .548 in the opening frame to cruise to a 1-0 advantage. A 6-0 run broke open the second set for OBU, and the Lady Bison sealed the match with six straight points for a wire-to-wire win in the third and final set.

Hayden Blair continued her dominant stretch, finishing with 38 assists, and freshman libero Kelsi Chavez scooped up 14 digs. Following back-to-back GAC accolades, Mikayla Watson finished with 14 kills and 13 digs for her seventh straight double-double.
