The Lady Bison (1-1) owned a 17-15 lead at the end of the first quarter following a Shaylan Coleman layup with seven seconds remaining in the quarter. Allies Fuller added six of her eight points in the opening frame against the Hornets (1-1).

ESU knocked down four three-pointers and scored 30 points in the second quarter to put the Lady Bison in a 33-45 hole at halftime.
McKenzie Cooper knocked down a three early in the third quarter to pull OBU within seven points at 38-45 with 9:13 remaining. A Coleman jumper with 8:12 left again cut the deficit to seven points, but it would be the closest the Lady Bison would come in the second half.

Coleman finished with a team-high 17 points, Cooper had 11 points on 3-of-4 shooting from behind the three-point arc and Kadesha Cooper added 10 points.
Autumn Avina paced OBU with seven rebounds and six assists.

OBU will host Arkansas-Monticello in the home opener and Great American Conference opener Thursday, Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m.
