SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist volleyball returns home for only the third time this season to host Ouachita Baptist Friday at 6 p.m. in the Noble Complex.

The Lady Bison (9-9, 4-1 GAC) look to get back in the win column after dropping a non-conference match on the road at Arkansas Fort Smith on Tuesday. OBU has featured a dominant defense in conference play this year, limiting opponents to a measly .058 hitting percentage.

As a team the Lady Bison have dominated at the net, racking up 2.40 blocks per set, which ranks first in the GAC and 13
th in NCAA Division II.
Sophia Couto leads the way in the middle with 1.10 blocks per set, which is third in the GAC.
Cadyn Laing (1.04 blocks) and
Nicole Fleitman (0.94 blocks) own the fourth and fifth best blocking marks in the conference, respectively. Offensively, Oklahoma Baptist is paced by redshirt freshman

Ouachita enters Friday on a one-match winning streak after defeating Henderson State in five sets last week. The Tigers (10-6, 3-2 GAC) have enjoyed extra-set matches this season, owning a 5-2 record in matches that last more than three sets. Adrianna Nolly picks up 2.71 kills to lead an Ouachita team that averages 12.7 kills per set. Stormi Leonard ranks third in the conference with 10.17 assists and Nikki Clay provides 4.23 digs per set.
