Preston Haire is sixth in the Great American Conference at 196.1 yards per game. He holds the OBU record with 32 passes completed in a game and shares the record of four touchdown passes in a game.
Â
Isaiah Mallory is second in the Great American Conference at 82.4 yards per game. To become the first back to have back-to-back 1000-yard seasons, Mallory would need to average over 144 yards per game. OBU faces three of the five worst GAC rushing defenses in the remaining contests.
Â
Seth Glasscock caught his first pass of the year Saturday - a touchdown. That means 16 different Bison have caught passes this year.
Stephan Turner leads the team with 34 receptions and
Cagney Roberson leads with 470 yards and five touchdowns. Turner and
Alex Lewis are in the GAC Top 10 in receptions and Roberson and Lewis are in the top 10 in receiving yards. Lewis has 32 receptions for 439 yards.
Â
The Bison offensive line has allowed just five sacks this season. That mark ranks Oklahoma Baptist 11th in the NCAA Division II, but only fifth in the Great American Conference. OBU has not allowed a sack since the Henderson State contest.
Â
Austin Loomis has 58 tackles and two interceptions to lead the Bulldogs. Antoine Albert has broken up seven passes and Braden Sweet has four tackles for loss.
Â
Bison linebacker
Josh Arnold is fifth in the Great American Conference with 66 tackles and seventh with 8.2 tackles per game. Arnold and his linebacker teammate
Joshua Redmond have combined for 115 tackles this season. Arnold leads the team in both solo (34) and assisted (32) tackles.
Â
Dante Foster, with 53 tackles and 6.6 tackles per game, is ranked 15th in the GAC. Foster also had the last sack the Bison have recorded - that coming against Harding. Foster is tied with
Landon Rowlett and
Ke'Landus Culton with four passes defensed.
Â
Southwestern's Casey Freeman is averaging 198.2 yards passing this season with nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Jared Rayburn (29 catches, 271 yards) and JR Omigie (24 catches, 393 yards) are his top targets. Southwestern averages 116 yards rushing per game, led by Karltrell Henderson at 53.8 per game.
