SHAWNEE – A day after facing the first place team in the Great American Conference, Oklahoma Baptist volleyball will host second place Harding on Friday at the Noble Complex at 6 p.m.

The Lady Bison (13-10, 8-2 GAC) got an early start to the week when they faced No. 14 Arkansas Tech Thursday night, falling in straight sets. OBU looks to get back on track against the final Arkansas school of the regular season.

Mikayla Watson averages 2.90 kills per set to lead a Lady Bison offense that picks up 12.4 kills per set on a .204 hitting percentage. OBU blocks at a rate of 2.4 per set, paced by
Sophia Couto at 1.10 (third in the GAC) and
Cadyn Laing at 1.08 (fourth in the GAC).
Suzanny Figueiredo picks up 4.67 digs and
Hayden Blair provides 8.61 assists per set.

Harding (20-3, 8-1 GAC) enters Friday on a three-match winning streak, but has defeated seven straight conference opponents since falling at ATU on Sept. 19. HU averages 13.7 kills to go with a .230 hitting percentage. Zoe Hardin picks up 2.87 kills to lead the team and is one of four players to post at least 2.0 kills per set. Setter Rachel Heussner adds 10.49 assists (second in the GAC) and Taylor Lake scoops up 4.60 digs per set. Hardin is also the top blocker in the conference with 100.0 total blocks for the season on a 1.28 per-set average.
