SHAWNEE – A battle for conference supremacy will take place at the Noble Complex Thursday night when Oklahoma Baptist hosts No. 14 Arkansas Tech in a volleyball match between the top two teams in the Great American Conference.

The Lady Bison (13-9, 8-1 GAC) are tied with Harding for second place in the GAC and enter Thursday on a four-match unbeaten streak, equaling the best stretch of the season. OBU averages 12.5 kills on a .208 attack percentage and leads the league with 2.48 blocks per set, which ranks 12
th in NCAA Division II.

Mikayla Watson leads the offense with 2.93 kills per set, the ninth-best mark in the GAC. Setter
Hayden Blair owns the sixth-best assists average in the conference at 8.67 and
Suzanny Figueiredo is seventh in the GAC at 4.80 digs per set.
Sophia Couto (1.10),
Cadyn Laing (1.09) and
Nicole Fleitman (0.92) each rank in the top six for blocks per set in the GAC this season.

The Golden Suns (24-0, 9-0 GAC) are one of only four teams remaining in Division II without a loss this season. They lead the GAC in several statistical categories including hitting percentage (.299), kills (14.91) and assists (13.78). ATU's defense has limited opponents to 9.24 kills per set on .089 hitting. The Golden Suns rank second in blocks per set at 2.17 per set.

Allie Anderson paces the high-powered offense with 3.03 kills per set, Madison Nagel picks up 4.81 digs and Greer Rogers averages 1.14 blocks. Amanda Milnick has been named GAC Setter of the Week five times this season and owns a 10.74 assists per set average.
