HTML Stats) Oklahoma Baptist picked up a straight-sets victory over Arkansas-Monticello, winning 3-0 (26-24, 25-14, 25-20) Saturday afternoon at Steelman Fieldhouse.

Malia Leatherland picked up back-to-back kills in the first set to break at 24-24 tie and give the Lady Bison (13-9, 8-1 GAC) a 1-0 lead. A 7-0 run early in the second set helped OBU cruise to a win in the second set, and
Mikayla Watson closed out the match with two straight kills in the third to seal the match.

The Lady Bison increased their winning streak to four, matching the longest unbeaten stretch of the season. Saturday's loss was the fourth straight for the Cotton Blossoms (7-14, 1-8 GAC).

Watson paced the team with 13 kills,
Hayden Blair finished with 40 assists and
Suzanny Figueiredo had 15 digs.
Cadyn Laing and
Sophia Couto each had three blocks and Leatherland added 10 kills in the three-set victory.

Oklahoma Baptist remains tied with Harding for second place in the Great American Conference with matching 8-1 records. OBU will host unbeaten No. 16 Arkansas Tech on Thursday and face Harding in the Noble Complex Friday evening.
