SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist volleyball wraps up a two-match road trip to Arkansas Saturday when they face Arkansas-Monticello at Steelman Fieldhouse in Monticello, Arkansas.

The Lady Bison maintained a share of second place in the Great American Conference Friday night when they escaped with a 3-2 road win over Southern Arkansas. OBU enters Saturday on a three-match win streak, the second-longest unbeaten stretch of the season.

Mikayla Watson collects 2.88 kills per set to lead a Lady Bison squad that owns a 12.4 kills per set. OBU has been great at the net all season, picking up 2.49 blocks per set to lead the GAC in that category.
Sophia Couto paces the team with 1.11 blocks while
Cadyn Laing adds 1.10 blocks and 2.66 kills. The offense is orchestrated by setter
Hayden Blair with 8.52 assists per set, and
Suzanny Figueiredo protects the back row with 4.79 digs per set.

The Cotton Blossoms have lost three straight matches and haven't come out on top against a conference foe since Sept. 26 when they defeated Southern Arkansas, their only GAC win of the season. UAM has the worst blocks per set average in the conference at 1.17 and are 11
th in kills at 11.18. As a team, the Cotton Blossoms have struggled to convert opportunities and attack with a .136 hitting percentage. Maggie Pyles ranks fourth in the GAC with 3.26 kills per set, Toryn Cox has a 5.14 assists average and Macy Mitchell adds 5.09 digs.
