SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer looks to make it nine straight matches without a defeat and solidify their standing at the top of the conference leaderboard when they face Harding at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12 at the OBU Soccer Complex.
The Lady Bison overcame an early 1-0 deficit against HU in Searcy, Arkansas, earlier this season thanks to goals by
Kelsey Bumgarner and
Hannah White.
Oklahoma Baptist (10-1-1, 5-0-1 GAC) leads the Great American Conference in total with 264 for an average of 22 shots per match. The Lady Bison are second in the GAC at 2.17 goals per match, led by
Ruth King on eight goals this season.
Defensively, OBU has shut out their last two opponents and boasts a plus-1.17 goals margin this season.
Emily Griffith leads the league with five clean sheets while posting a .97 goals-against average and .721 save percentage.
