MONTICELLO, Ark. – The Lady Bison continue their Great American Conference business trip in southern Arkansas as they take on Arkansas-Monticello Saturday at 1p.m.
SCOUTING THE BLOSSOMS:
Monticello (4-5, 1-4 GAC) comes off of loss to Southern Nazarene on Thursday night as their lone conference win came against East Central in 2016. Southwestern, Northwestern and Southeastern have all recorded wins over UAM as Treasure Evans and Taylor Collins lead the team in scoring, averaging 14.4 and 10.6 points respectively. Evans also leads the Blossoms on average rebounds with 6 per contest.
BRINGING THE BISON:
OBU (4-7, 1-4 GAC) recorded their first conference win on Thursday night over the likes of Southern Arkansas in a back-and-forth thriller behind
Tasha Edge's 14 points and 10 rebounds. Edge leads the team in scoring as
Cameerah Graves and
Katy Custer follow with 11 and 10 points per contest. Graves also leads the team in assists, dishing out four on average.
