Both teams played Northeastern State in home games in their last contests - OBU losing by a dozen at home while the Muleriders got an overtime victory, 73-65.

Tasha Edge scored 24 points - the most by a Lady Bison this season - in the loss last week against Northeastern State. The total matches her previous career high. She scored 24 points last season against Northwestern.

Cameerah Graves leads the teams with 17 steals through 10 games, despite getting shut out in that category last week.

Southern Arkansas hasn't played since Dec. 19 - a break of two weeks. Kimberly Crown leads the 3-5 Muleriders with a scoring average of 10.8 points per game. She also is the rebounds leader at 7.0.

Southern Arkansas leads the GAC in defensive rebound percentage while the Lady Bison average a league-best 15 offensive boards per game.

The Bison won both games in the series last year, including and overtime win in Magnolia. Both games were high-scoring contests with an average score of 90-85.
