SHAWNEE – Chandler Rickey matched his career high with 29 points and Oklahoma Baptist knocked off Ouachita Baptist 77-71 Saturday in the Noble Complex.
 
Rickey knocked down 12 of 15 field goal attempts, including both three-point tries, and scored all three free throws attempts. The shot-blocking leader of the Great American Conference, Rickey improved on his 2.8 average with five swats.
 
Vladimir Nemcok added 17 points and four assists while 
Kevin Franceschi contributed 15 points.
 
The Bison shot 55 percent from the field (26-47) and 47.1 percent (8-17) from three-point range.
 
"This team, like a jigsaw puzzle, has a lot of different pieces and when everyone is doing the things they are good at doing, this is what it looks like," said OBU Coach 
Quinn Wooldridge.
 
Rickey led the Bison with eight rebounds and 
Tyler Zivney came up with seven boards in his 20 minutes off the bench.
 
The Bison return to action Thursday at Harding in Searcy, Arkansas. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
