SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist hosts Southwestern Oklahoma State Saturday in a 1 p.m. contest to conclude the first half of Great American Conference action.
The Lady Bulldogs moved to 10-3 overall and 6-3 in the Great American Conference after their 87-79 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State Wednesday. Southwestern averages just under 80 points per game. Hailey Tucker leads SWOSU and the Great American Conference at 18.9 points per game. Hayden Priddy averages 15.1 and Tyra Aska scores 12.2 points per game.
OBU is 4-12 on the season and 1-9 in the GAC.
The Lady Bison are 3-5 at home this season and average 73.8 points per game in the Noble Complex. Tasha Edge and Lexi Williams average 13 points apiece and Cameerah Graves averages 4.2 assists per game.
In four wins this season, the Lady Bison average 87.5 points, shoot 44 percent from the field and out-rebound opponents by 15 per game. Tasha Edge averages 14.3 points and a dozen rebounds and Lexi WIlliams, Katy Custer, Autumn Avina and Cameerah Graves all average double figures in scoring.
