SHAWNEE – A furious fourth-quarter rally by Oklahoma Baptist came up short against Southeastern Oklahoma State, 81-77, Thursday.

After trailing by 12 going into the final frame,
Kaydee Banks drained a three-pointer with 1:08 to give OBU a 77-76 lead and
Katy Custer grabbed a rebound on the other end, but the Lady Bison were whistled for a 10-second violation with 39.1 seconds to play.

Sa'Liesha Hunter tagged a three-pointer, giving Southeastern a 79-77 lead with 25.6 seconds remaining, OBU missed on the other end.

OBU shot 52 percent from the field in the first half, including 5 of 10 from three-point range.
Lexi Williams had 11 points at the intermission.

Southeastern opened the second half on a 13-0 run, hit six of eight three-pointers in the third quarter and led 70-58 going into the final quarter.

Williams led OBU with 19 points, followed by
Tasha Edge with 13 and Custer with 11.

The Lady Bison return to action at home Saturday against East Central. Tipoff is 1 p.m.
