SHAWNEE – Riding a Great American Conference-best three-match winning streak, Oklahoma Baptist Women's Soccer is set to open league play on Thursday, Sept. 22 when Harding visit the OBU Soccer Complex at 6 p.m.
 
Oklahoma Baptist (3-1, 0-0 GAC) has won their last three matches, highlighted by a win over No. 15 Texas Woman's, and have only allowed one goal during their winning run. Abigial Hicks and Ruth King have developed some report along the front line, linking up for four goals and three assists. Kenzi Bice has the OBU's other goal, and the Lady Bison currently rank third in the GAC in goals (5) and points (15).
 
Beck has been solid the last three games for OBU, and currently ranks second in both save percentage (.800) and shutouts (2). Oklahoma Baptist's defense is one of only three GAC schools to post multiple shutouts, and Beck is one of just two keepers to be responsible for two or more clean sheets. Oklahoma Baptist is currently allowing 15.2 shots per match, but only 41 percent of opponent's shots are finding the target. Opposing offenses hold a .082 shooting percentage.
 
Harding (3-2, 0-0 GAC) went 1-1 last week, including a 3-2 overtime win over Division I Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Lady Bisons offense has generated 13 goals this season, the second-most among GAC schools, and are led by the combination of Morgan Springborn and Emma Chilton, who have scored seven goals combined. Jessica Woesner has started four matches in goal for Harding, and holds a 1.61 goals-against average and .647 save percentage during her tenure minding the net.
 
League play continues for Oklahoma Baptist when they welcome Ouachita to the OBU Soccer Complex for a Saturday afternoon tilt. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
