SHAWNEE – Coming off a 1-0 victory over the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma this past Saturday, the Lady Bison are taking their first road trip of the season. Oklahoma Baptist is set to take on No. 15 Texas Woman's in Denton, Texas, on Friday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m.

Abigail Hicks has accounted for OBU's lone goal this season, while
Emmily Infante immediately made her presence felt by assisting on the goal in her first action of the season. The Lady Bison are currently averaging 8.5 shots per match, led by Hicks with five shots and
Ruth King with four.

Defensively, the Lady Bison are giving up 19.0 shots per match, however they only allowed USAO nine shots in their most recent contest. At the moment,
Emma Beck ranks third in the Great American Conference in both saves per match (7.0), save percentage (.778) and shutouts (1).

Texas Woman's is enjoying their best start in program history, entering Friday's meeting with an unblemished 4-0 record and the No. 15 ranking by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Pioneers are averaging 1.5 goals per game, led by midfielder Chelsea Martin with three. Texas Woman's defense has shutout three opponents this season.

The road trip continues for OBU following the conclusion of Friday's match. Oklahoma Baptist heads to Conway, Arkansas, for a first-ever meeting with Hendrix College on Monday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m.
