COMMERCE, Texas – Oklahoma Baptist dropped two softball games at Texas A&M Commerce Tuesday, falling 11-1 and 7-6.
The Lady Bison had leads in both games, losing the second on a walk-off grand slam.
Kasey Maddox singled home Shalee Cordell with the first run of the first game in the first inning, but the Lady Bison were blanked form there.
OBU had four hits in the game, including two by Bailee Saye.
The Lady Bison trailed 2-1 in the second game before getting on the scoreboard in the fourth inning on an RBI single by Corbi Parasich.
Down 3-1, the Lady Bison took the lead in the sixth, 4-3, on an RBI fielder's choice by Parasich and a two-run double by Miranda Garza.
OBU went up 6-3 in the top of the seventh on a solo home run by Jill Shipman and an RBI single by Hannah Morris.
The Lions got their grand slam in the bottom of the seventh with one out to take the win.
McKenzie Jones suffered the complete-game loss.
OBU returns to action with four games against Southeastern Oklahoma State this weekend in Shawnee. The series begins with a 3 p.m. doubleheader Friday. Saturday's 1 p.m. doubleheader will be Bark in the Park. Fans are encouraged to bring their leashed dogs.
