SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist's Jinny Parra picked up his third complete game of the season, getting a 5-2 win over Arkansas Tech at Bison Field Sunday.
Parra struck out five batters.
OBU took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on a lead-off home run by Ryan Joyce and an RBI double by Trevor Ezell.
The Wonder Boys tied the game in the third on a two-run double by Josh Watkins.
The Bison took the lead for good with two runs in the sixth on Dustyn Cook's bases-loaded screamer back through the middle.
Joseph Moran tripled and scored on a wild pitch for the final Bison run in the eighth.
OBU had eight hits in the game with Joyce getting a single in addition to his home run.
Now 14-5 overall and 6-4 in the Great American Conference, the Bison wrap up their series with Arkansas Tech with a noon doubleheader at Bison Field Monday.
