Bison Come Up Short at SAU

MAGNOLIA, Arkansas – Oklahoma Baptist posted a season-high 91 points and attempted 39 three-pointers, but fell three points short in a 94-91 loss at Southern Arkansas Thursday.

OBU was unsuccessful on a last-ditch shot, inbounding from the other end of the court with under a second to play in the game.

The Bison missed seven of their final eight free throw attempts.

Chandler Rickey had 29 points with four three-pointers and Vladimir Nemcok contributed 20 points and nine assists.

Cagney Roberson scored 16 points, followed by Tyler Lester with 12 on four three-pointers and Steven Green scored 10 points.

Now 7-18 overall and 3-18 in the Great American Conference, the Bison finish the season at Arkansas-Monticello Saturday. The contest tips off at 3 p.m.
