Lady Bison Lose two in Magnolia

MAGNOLIA, Arkansas – Oklahoma Baptist kept powerful Southern Arkansas without a home run, but couldn't find any offense to back that up and lost 4-0, 5-0, Friday.

The Muleriders entered with a Great American Conference-leading 23 home runs in eight games.

The Lady Bison got only a double by Shalee Cordell in the first game. Hannah Morris added a double in the second game to go with singles by Madison Vaughan and Jill Shipman.

McKenzie Jones (0-4) allowed three earned runs in the first game and Haylee Zimmerman (0-1) allowed four in the second.

Now 2-5 overall and 0-2 in the GAC, the Lady Bison and Muleriders finish their series with a noon doubleheader Saturday.
