Softball Falls at Southern Arkansas

MAGNOLIA, Arkansas – Oklahoma Baptist ended a 0-4 trip to Southern Arkansas with 11-0 and 3-0 losses Saturday.

The Lady Bison had just three hits in the opener, getting singles from Jill Shipman, Kasey Jo Burgess and Haylee Zimmerman.

Amanda Peterson (1-1) took the loss.

OBU got four hits in the second game, including a double and a single by Hannah Morris and singles by Shalee Cordell and Burgess.

Bailee Saye (1-1) got the pitching loss in the second game.

Now 2-7 overall and 0-4 in the Great American Conference, the Lady Bison host a four-game set against Arkansas-Monticello Friday and Saturday.
