SHAWNEE – Finishing out the 2016 calendar year at home, the Lady Bison host Harding on Saturday at 1p.m. for the last double-header until January.

Saturday is the OBU Toy Drive. Bring an unwrapped toy Saturday and it will be forwarded on to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.

SCOUTING THE BISONS:
Harding (5-1, 3-0 GAC) comes to Shawnee off of an 88-50 win over Southern Nazarene in Bethany. In non-conference action, the Bisons defeated Minnesota State – Moorehead and Missouri Southern, who OBU fell to off of a last-second shot in their season debut. HU held off Southwestern Oklahoma State by four as Caroline Hogue recorded 25 points and 18 rebounds and also led the way for the Bisons against Southern Nazarene, scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds in the win. Harding's only loss came against No. 14-ranked Drury by 20 points.
 
HASHING OUT HARDING:
#30 CAROLINE HOGUE – The 6'1 Division I transfer has led the team in scoring and rebounds so far this season, averaging a double-double in 13.3 points and 10 rebounds per game.
#21 SYDNEY LAYROCK – Layrock adds 12 points and 5 rebounds per contest and will look to create offensively.
#14 A'NDREA HANEY – The senior point guard distributes six assists and 10.7 points per contest, contributing a high basketball IQ and leadership to the floor.
 
 
SCOUTING THE LADY BISON:
OBU (3-5, 0-3 GAC) are still on the prowl for their first Great American Conference win as Harding treks to the Noble Complex Saturday afternoon. During the hard-fought loss against Arkansas Tech, junior Lexi Williams led the team in scoring, dropping 14 points on the night. Following Williams were Cameerah Graves and Katy Custer with 13 and 10 respectively, as Tasha Edge and Autumn Avina pulled down nine and six boards each.
