KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer defeated Cincinnati Christian 3-0 in the opening match of pool play at the NCCAA National Championship Tuesday evening.

The Lady Bison powered through the first match of Pool "C" behind two goals from Abaigail Hicks and a shutout win from
Emma Beck.

Hicks beat the keeper off a cross from
Ruth King in the 17th minute to score the only goal of the first half.
Â
King once again found Hicks just nine minutes into the second half to push the lead to 2-0.
Emmily Infante scored an unassisted goal in the 82nd minute to seal the Lady Bison victory.

OBU dominated possession, taking 30 shots while limiting the Eagles (10-11-1) to just two shot attempts for the match. CCU did not record a shot until the second half, and only tested Beck once.

Now 13-5-1, Oklahoma Baptist will face Trinity Christian Wednesday at 5 p.m. to wrap up pool play.
