SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist continues its non-conference women's basketball action at home Saturday at 3 p.m. as Rogers State comes to the Noble Complex.
 
The Lady Bison and Hillcats have met 14 times - all as members of the Sooner Athletic Conference. OBU leads the all-time series 8-6. The teams met twice in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament with each team winning once to complete a season sweep.
 
Both head coaches are seeking their first win in the rivalry. Casi Bays is 0-2 and this is the first contest against OBU for Rogers State head coach Bobby Cope.
 
Oklahoma Baptist set a school record with 77 rebounds Tuesday against Dallas Christian, breaking the record of 66, which was shared by the 1980-81 Lady Bison (against USAO) and the 2004-05 squad (against Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College). Tasha Edge led OBU with 19 rebounds Tuesday and was two shy of the single record owned by Janett Vasquez.
 
Katy Custer scored 21 points for a game-high Tuesday. She knocked down four three-pointers along the way.
 
Natasha Kindred is the lone Hillcat averaging double figures in the scoring column at 10.6 points per game. The team uses its bench extensively. Eleven players have played in all five Rogers State games this season.
